General Rules for Boards:
1. Always Spell check. Typos are simple ways of letting people know that you are illiterate. A few typo's are ok, but if its a constant habit it has to stop.

2. Don't Chatspeak in character. Like, 'richard ate a fish and then he went 2 the shore' Its bad. It sounds bad. Just don't use it, ok? Good.

3. Quality over quantity. Don't draaag out your posts because people won't bother read them. Yet again, don't make it so short that people will read them and think you're boring. Use personality in your writing at all times.

4. Don't interfere with other players if they're already busy. If two Pokemons are talking about each other together, don't interfere and be annoying.

5. Be original! It gets boring to see the same characters over and over again, so add some spice into the role play! Change the names of the places, the environment, or even add a cool plot! Don't make nothing happen, because then nothing will ever happen.

6. Don't use the * tag in character. I mean, I use it all the time while I'm not role playing *smiles* but in character it just doesn't read right. Like, this: *walks up to Zarna with Rattata in mouth* *smiles* Hi, Zarna! *drops prey*

7. Don't use repeated speech. Like so: "Richard walked into the shore. He went into his den and slept on his bed. He walked out of his den and went back into the shore."

8. That brings me to another tip. Don't use huge time lapses. Like above. He went and walked in the clearing, immediately went to bed, and back in a whole post! What happens in between? That's for you to decide.

How to Lengthen Posts
+ Describe the scenery and your surroundings. It adds a nice mood and personality to your writing, and is never looked upon as a bad thing.

+ Describe your feelings. Go on and on about how your character feels and why. Don't just say they were sad. Say they were upset, with a large tear flowing down her face because she knew she could never have a mate if she was going to run away. Go on in detail! Elaborate!

+ DETAIL! Add detail, detail, DETAIL! This is so important, you don't even know! Add the tone of voice, facial expressions, and body language! Colors, moods, scenery, twitches of tails, there all important!

Forbidden:
1. Interfering with other players if they're already busy
2. Using the bad/ dirty languages
3. Doing sexual activities that are too graphic
4. Disrespecting the admins, mods, and members
5. Disobeying the admins and mods
6. Creating more than 6 characters
6. Asking somebody's personal things such as ASL
7. Doing something that is not related to Pokemon such as "Richard jumped in the car and drove away!" Come on! XD
8. Hurting everyone's feelings. It's not nice.
9. Acting immature
10. I think that is it. But please avoid these if you want to earn some respect and peace. And importantly, USE YOUR COMMON SENSE.

Legendaries
1. Legendaries have their applications checked thouroughly by me, and me alone. I will decide if you're fit for the position or not, because, those who play a legendary will automatically become mods.

2. Only one legendary per person! Don't try to fool me, I see all! I only made an acception with me and Pyrox because we have a plot in mind.

3. You may make a legendary hybrid. It doesn't have to be a combination of two legendaries, but it will take any of the legendaries that you use off of the list, so choose wisely. This pokemon will count as your single legendary. It has all the abilities that any pure legendary would have.


Breeding
1. No graphic breeding! It will result in an immediate ban, no matter who you are! If you decide to do it over PM, be sure that you're sending it to the correct person. If you send it to the wrong person, it's a GIANT warning!!

2. If you have a weird hybrid, like fire x water, then it may only use one of the parents' attack types.

3. There will be a special member who will have the pleasure of delivering the eggs, hooray for them! ^^

4. Your pokemon may not breed until they're level 30. A just-in-caser...

5. You may Fb with the permission of the player. It may not be graphic!



I know, the rules are bored but we must follow them. We want to keep this site enjoyable, friendly, and n00bs-free!
